Billing

You pay per unique committer across all enabled repositories, billed monthly. Every new organization starts with a 7 day trial at full access, no credit card required.

Per-committer pricing

You pay based on the number of unique committers across all repositories your organization has enabled in Prelint. Anyone who authored a commit counts — not just PR authors.

• Billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date.
• Committers are counted from the date you enable a repository — not retroactively.
• Repositories disabled mid-cycle still count their committers for that billing period.
• CI bots (Dependabot, Renovate, github-actions, snyk-bot) are automatically excluded.
• AI coding tools (e.g. Claude, Cursor) are not excluded and count as committers.

Free trial

Every new organization gets a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start.

• All features are available during the trial, including unlimited reviews.
• At the end of the trial, you'll be prompted to add a payment method.
• If you don't add a payment method, reviews are paused until you subscribe.

Managing your plan

Manage your subscription from Settings → Billing in the dashboard:

• Enable repositories. New committers will be counted from the enable date forward.
• Disable repositories. Stops new committers from accruing in subsequent billing periods.
• Cancel. Cancel your subscription. You retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Invoices and receipts

Prelint uses Stripe for all billing. From Settings → Billing:

• View and download past invoices.
• Update your payment method.
• Change your billing email address.
• Access the Stripe customer portal for detailed billing management.
